Profile
If you change your username, it will update after you receive the subsequent Hunch notification and post a Hunch. You can change your username once per Hunch notification.
Change your Username
- Go to your profile.
- Tap your profile photo to edit your profile.
- Tap your existing username.
- Enter your new username.
- Tap “Change Username” to confirm and save.
Login / Signup
For security reasons, it’s impossible to create an account or log in to an existing one without entering the correct verification code. Don’t try guessing the code! Entering the wrong verification code several times could lead to you being temporarily locked out.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Ensure you’re using the latest version of Hunch.
- Double-check that you’ve entered the correct phone number.
- Wait a few minutes! Sometimes, the code can take a little longer to send.
- Ensure you have a strong cellular signal.
- Verify there are no settings enabled on your device which may block incoming text messages.
- Restart your device, and try again.
When creating an account or signing in, we send a verification code. This ensures the code is sent by text message. Users may enter their number incorrectly, sending the verification code to the wrong number.

Click on the premium tab in the profile menu. It will show you options to purchase the plan ( Weekly, Monthly, etc). Select from the available options and click on subscribe. It will take you to the payment screen
If you have subscribed to a Hunch subscription through Google Play and want to cancel, you can follow these steps:
a) Open the Google Play store
b) Go to “Account” under the Play Store menu
c) Tap on “Subscriptions” and you will see your active app subscriptions.
d) Tap on your Hunch subscription and then click “Cancel”
If you made the purchase on the Hunch app for iOS and were billed by Apple., you can follow these steps:
a) Open your iPhone Settings
b) Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions
c) Select the subscription or membership you want to cancel
d) Tap Cancel Subscription

You can also cancel the subscription by clicking on the current subscription in the premium plan tab in an app which again takes you to their Play Store or iOS link
If new features are added to the Hunch+ plan, your current subscription will remain unaffected unless you:
- Cancel and resubscribe to the Hunch+ plan.
- Upgrade your subscription, for instance, from a weekly to a monthly basis.
