Report an Intellectual Property Violation

Here at Hunch, we serve to protect the intellectual property (IP) rights of individuals and entities part of our community. Posting Content that violates copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized sharing of copyrighted works, use of others’ trademarks without permission, and any other violation of intellectual property rights.

Reporting IP Violations

Users can report suspected Intellectual Property violations by using the Intellectual Property Violation Form. The reports should include:

  • Clear identification of the copyrighted or trademarked work claimed to have been violated.
  • A description of the violating material and its location on Hunch.
  • Contact information of the reporting party.
  • Any other relevant details specified in the form.

Enforcement Actions

Upon receiving a valid infringement report, Hunch will:
  • Review and investigate the report for completeness and validity.
  • Temporarily hide or remove the Content in question.
  • Notify the User who posted the Content, providing them with the report details and an opportunity to respond.
  • Take appropriate action based on the response, which may include permanent removal of Content, account suspension, or reinstatement of Content if an agreement is reached or if the Content is determined to be non-infringing.
