("User," “You,” or “Your”) and/or collected by Hunch
(“Hunch,” “We,” “Us,” “Our,” and “Company”) on
the sites and applications where this Privacy Policy is posted, whether on the Platform or in limited case, on third party applications where We allow You to share Content, read with
terms and conditions of such applications. It also
describes the processing of guest information provided to Us. We follow this Privacy Policy in accordance
with Applicable Laws in the places where We operate. In some cases, We may provide additional data privacy
notices specific to certain products, practices, or regions. Those terms are to be read in conjunction with
this Policy.
By continuing to use or access the Platform, You acknowledge that You have read,
understood, and accepted the information described in this Privacy Policy. If You do not agree with this
Privacy Policy in general or any part of it, You should immediately navigate away from the Platform.
We are committed to respecting Your privacy and handling Your personal
information with care and consideration. Please read ahead carefully to understand how Your personal
information is treated by Hunch.

1. Definitions and Key
Terms
- “Platform” means the Hunch site or mobile
application, including any webpages which may be associated with it from time to time.
- “Modification” means any upgrade, update, or
other modification to the Platform.
- “Applicable Laws” means all statutes,
enactments, acts of legislature or parliament, laws, ordinances, rules, by-laws, regulations,
notifications, guidelines, policies, directions, directives, and orders of any governmental authority,
as may be applicable to the User.
- “Services” means the services provided via
the Platform by the Company.
- “Users” refers to the individuals who are
allowed to use the Platform in accordance with the User Agreement.
- “Content Guideline” or “Guidelines” means
a written statement or set of instructions that Users must follow while creating Content on the
Platform.
- “Content” is defined as the text, links,
graphics, photos, videos, audio, streams, emojis, comments, user bio or other materials available on the
Platform.
- “Chat Feature/Goss” refers to the
interactive instant messaging feature on the Platform that allows Users to communicate with each other in
real-time.
- “AI Chat Bot" refers to the
automated chat system powered by artificial intelligence technology that provides automated responses
and assistance to Users.
Any term used in the Policy and not described herein shall have the same meaning
as given in the Terms of Use.
2. Data We Collect
- Data You Provide to Us
‘Personal Data’ means
information that identifies (whether directly or indirectly) a particular individual, such as the
individual’s name, email address, user profile picture, telephone number, age, gender, interests, and location. When
anonymous information is directly or indirectly associated with Personal Data, the resulting information
also is treated as Personal Data. All Personal Data that You provide to Us must be true, complete, and
accurate, and You must notify Us of any changes to such Personal Data. However,
We do not consider Personal Data to include information
that has been aggregated and/or anonymized so that it does not identify You. Any data which is secured,
hashed, and/or encrypted and/or does not reveal
Your identity, is not Personal Data.
‘User Generated Content’ is the Content You create on Hunch, and the associated metadata, such as when, where,
and by whom the content was created.
‘Chats’ which includes information You provide when You compose, send, or receive messages through
the Platform’s Chat Feature. That information includes but is not limited to the content of the
message and information about the message, such as when it was sent, received, or read; and message
participants; chat requests from other Users and Users you have sent chat requests to. Please be aware that
messages you choose to send to other Users of the Platform will be accessible by those Users and that We are
not responsible for the manner in which those Users use or share the messages.
Our ‘AI Chat Bot’ collects and uses data based on Your poll responses and interactions with the
bot. The data is used to personalize the AI bot interactions and provide relevant insights to You.
Some Chat Data may be automatically deleted from the Platform after a defined time period. However, We may retain this data on Our
servers for research and analytical purposes.
Information in correspondence You send to Us, including when You contact Hunch for
support or We contact You for feedback.
- Information We Automatically Collect
We automatically collect certain information when You visit, use, or navigate the
Platform. This may include device and usage information, such as Your IP address, browser and device
characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location,
information about how and when You use the Platform, and other technical information. This information is
needed to maintain the security and operation of the Platform, as well as for analytics and reporting
purposes to help keep Hunch more relevant for You.
The data We collect includes:
- Usage Data: We collect
information about your activity through our services. For example, We may collect information
about:
- How you interact with Our Services including the polls You
view, vote and comment on, profiles You view and profiles which view You, times of posting, Your usage
of the Chat Feature, screenshots taken by You of the Platform, etc. The Usage Data being tracked may
change on the basis of new features released on the Platform.
- Log Data. Log Data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information
Our servers automatically collect when You access or use Our Platform and which We record in log files.
Depending on how You interact with Us, this log data may include browser type
and settings and information about Your activity on the Platform (such as the date and time stamps
associated with Your usage, pages, and files viewed, searches and other actions You take such as which
features You use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called
'crash dumps') and hardware settings).
- Device Data. We collect device data
such as information about Your computer, phone, tablet or other
devices You use to access the Website or application. Depending on the
device used, this device data may include information such as Your IP address (or proxy server), device
and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, internet service
provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system and system configuration information.
- Location Data. We collect location
data such as information about Your device's location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How
much information We collect depends on the type and settings of the device You use to access the
Platform. For example, We may use GPS and other technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us
Your current location (based on Your IP address). You can opt out of allowing Us to collect this
information by disabling Your Location settings on Your device. Note however, if You choose to opt out,
You may not be able to use certain aspects of the Services.
- Tracking Technology and Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a site stores on Your computer or mobile device when
You visit the site. Browsers support cookies and similar tracking technologies in order to improve Your
experience and to create aggregated anonymized statistics about usage of the site.
- Aggregated Data. We may also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic
data for any purpose. Aggregated data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered
personal data in law if it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
- Information Collected from Other Sources
- Ad Partners and other affiliates: In order to enhance Our ability to provide relevant marketing,
offers and Services to You, We may obtain information about You from other sources, such as public
databases, joint marketing partners, affiliate programs, data providers, as well as from other third
parties for the purposes of targeted advertising. Information shared by ad
partners and affiliates or collected by Us from Our ad partners and affiliates may be combined with the
other information You share with Us and We collect about You as per the terms of this Policy.
We collect the Personal Data that You provide Us and through other sources.
By using Our platform, You consent to this collection and use of Your data as
specified in this Policy.
3. How long We retain Your Data for
- We keep different types of information for different
periods of time:
- Your Profile Information and Content is available on the
Platform for the duration of Your account.
- We store Your Profile Information, Content and other personally identifiable data as long as is
necessary to fulfill the purpose it was
collected for.
- Publically available Content can exist elsewhere even
after You remove it from the Platform. For example, search engines and other third parties may retain
copies of Your Content for a longer period of time, based upon their own policies, even after they are
deleted or expire on the Platform.
- Where You violate Our Guidelines and terms as defined in the
Content

of Use and Your account is suspended, We may keep the
identifiers You used to create the account (i.e. email address or phone number) to prevent repeat policy
offenders from creating new accounts, in compliance with Applicable Law.
- We may keep certain information in order to comply with
legal requirements and for safety and security reasons, in compliance with Applicable Law.
We keep the Personal Data that You provide to Us and some information
that is collected automatically when You visit the
Platform.

Deleting Your Account: You can delete Your Account at any time by going to Your profile on Hunch and selecting Delete Account from the menu. You may also delete your account by raising a request via the Account Deletion Form.

of Use and Your account is suspended, We may keep the
identifiers You used to create the account (i.e. email address or phone number) to prevent repeat policy
offenders from creating new accounts, in compliance with Applicable Law.

legal requirements and for safety and security reasons, in compliance with Applicable Law.
4. Third Party
Integrations
- When You interact with
third-party platforms (e.g. Twitter and Snapchat) through Hunch, You consent to We may access, collect,
and share certain information necessary for these interactions. This includes but is not limited to Your
username and other profile information on Hunch and third-party platforms, Your Content, and the content
You put on such platforms.
- Additionally, We may share Your Personal Data with
third-party platforms for ad targeting and performance measurement to enhance Your user experience and
provide You with more relevant content.
- Please note that when You use our Services to share content
on third-party platforms, Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies
and terms of service. We encourage You to carefully review these third-party policies before sharing
content through our Services on these platforms. Hunch is not responsible for the privacy practices or
the content of these third-party platforms. If You have any questions or concerns about how these
platforms handle Your personal data, We recommend reaching out to them directly or consulting their
respective privacy policies.
5. How We Use Your
Data
We collect Your data for lawful purposes, including but not limited to what is listed below:
- To facilitate account creation and login process
We use social sign-in to facilitate the account creation and login process and may
collect some personal data including Your name and email address.
- Provide and Maintain Service
We use the information We collect to provide and operate Our products and services.
We also use the information We collect to improve and personalize Our products and services so that You have
a better experience on Hunch, including showing You more relevant Content and ads, suggesting people and
topics to follow, and enabling and helping You discover
affiliates, third-party apps, and services. We may use the information We collect from accounts of other
services that You choose to connect Your account to provide You features like cross-posting or cross-service
authentication, and to operate Our services. We use Your contact information to help others find Your
account if Your settings permit so, including through third-party services and client applications.
- Research and Analysis
We use the information We collect to measure and analyze the effectiveness of Our
products and services and to better understand how You use them in order to make them better.
- For the performance of the Contract
To enforce Our terms, conditions, and policies for business purposes, to comply
with legal and regulatory requirements, or in connection with Our contract.
- To respond to legal requests
If We receive a summon or other legal requests, We may need to inspect the data We hold to determine how to respond.
- To Communicate With You
We use the information We collect to communicate with You about Our products and
services, including product updates and changes to Our policies and terms. We may also send You marketing
messages from time to time.
- To Manage Your Requests
We may use Your information to respond to Your inquiries and solve any potential
issues You might have with the use of Our Services.
We process Your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests,
the fulfillment of Our contract with You, and to comply with Our legal obligations.
6. How We Share
Information
- With Service Providers
We may share Your information with Our service providers that perform functions and provide services on Our behalf, with service providers that host Our
various blogs and wikis, with service
providers that help Us understand the use of
Our services, and those that provide fraud detection services.
- For Business Transfers
We may share, sell, or transfer information about You in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of
assets, or bankruptcy. This Privacy Policy will apply to Your Personal Data that is shared
with (before and after the close of any transaction) or transferred to the new entity.
- With Affiliates
We may share information amongst Our affiliates to provide Our products and
services.
- With Other Users
Information about You, such as Your username, profile picture, vibe score, list
and count of following and followers, polls participated in, polls commented on (“Profile Information”), Content created by You on Hunch,
etc.
There is presently no restriction on how widely Your Content or Profile
Information is shared and is available for all Users on the Platform to view and interact with, irrespective
of whether they are signed into the Platform or not.
- Third Parties
We share or disclose your information with your consent or at your direction with
third party services where Your Content can be integrated or shared. Please read Clause 4 for more
information on how we share information with third parties.
- With Users' Consent
We may process Your data if You have given Us specific consent to use Your
Personal Data for a specific purpose.
We share Your information for legitimate business interests.
7. Opting out
- You can always opt out of Our Services or choose not to disclose
information to Us at any time. However, keep in mind that some information may be needed to register
with Us or to take advantage of Our features. By providing limited information, or by availing
of the opt-out provision, You may not be able to access
the full functionalities of Our Services and
Application, and some features may be disabled for Your access.
- We reserve the right to continue to keep a copy of Your Personal
Data if required by law. We may use any aggregated/anonymized data derived from Your account, in a
matter which shall not infringe upon Your privacy.
You can opt out of using the Platform at any time.
8. Privacy of Children
- Hunch requires people accessing the Platform to be thirteen
(13) years of age or older. In some countries, the law requires a parent or guardian to give consent for
people younger than the age of eighteen (18) to access certain services similar to the Platform. In that
case, please be sure to discuss this Privacy Policy with Your parent or legal guardian before You access
the Platform.
- If You do not meet the age requirements as per Applicable Laws,
You should immediately navigate away from the Platform. Hunch shall not provide Services to anyone below
the legal age of consent and reserves the right to block Users it knows are under the legal age of
consent. If You believe We may have mistakenly or unintentionally allowed access
to the Platform or collected any information from a person under the legal age of consent, please
contact Us using the contact information provided below. Accessing the Platform means You warrant that
You are of legal age to use Our Services.
- We may take additional steps to protect children’s
privacy, including:
- Notifying parents and guardians about Our information
practices with regard to children, including the types of data We collect, how We use that information,
and how We share that information.
- Obtaining consent from parents and guardians for the
collection of Personal Data from their children, or for sending information about Our products and
services directly to their children.
- Limiting Our collection of Personal Data from children to
what is reasonably necessary to participate in an online activity.
- Giving parents and guardians access or the ability to request
access to Personal Data We have collected from their children and the ability to request that the
Personal Data be changed or deleted.
We may take additional measures to protect the privacy of children below the age
of 13 years.
9. Your Rights/Control over Your
information
- Access, Correction, and Portability. You can access and edit most of Your basic account
information right on the Platform by going to the Your Profile section.
- While using the Chat Feature
Within the chat feature, You have the ability to view past chat
interactions, edit Your personal chat settings, and manage Your chat contacts.
- Mobile Notifications
We may send promotional and non-promotional push notifications and alerts to any
mobile device You may access the Hunch mobile application through. You can deactivate these messages at any
time by changing the notification settings on that mobile device.
- Right to Erasure
You can at any point of time contact Us for the removal of Personal Data unless
it is necessary for legal or business purposes as defined in Clause 4 of this Policy.
- Right to nominate
The User has the right to nominate any other individual to exercise the rights on
his behalf as defined in this clause in the event of his death or incapacity caused due to unsoundness of
mind or body.

10. Changes to this Privacy
Policy
The most current version of this Privacy Policy governs the of Your personal data
and We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as needed. If We do revise this Privacy Policy, We
will provide You notice of the revised Privacy Policy before You continue to use Our Platform.
We will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant
laws.
