Through our history women have been opressed intensely and have been sufferers of great challenges. Yet in the last 70-80 years they managed to make a respectable place for themselves in the society. But still today women are being opressed both inside their own homes and in their society that opression is both physical and mental. So I believe its not that its extra vivid for women its just that it happens to them a lot more and that's a terrible thing. Even more terrible is that people label it as attention seeking and turn a blind eye towards it.
