@amoeba._. You where, so thanks, and I have noticed that she has been more affectionate with human since she is pregnant so hearing that from someone who knows more about cats then I do definitely helped to calm my nerves

@TripleDuct LOL yeah NO i dont think she would give birth ON you lol. Cat’s minds are complex though and actually believe it or not structured similar to human brains. My point is that it could be various different reasons from trying to calm herself to something simple like that she just likes your energy. When a cat is pregnant the hormones do get sorta haywire though (any female really), she might just be super affectionate towards people rn. If she doesn’t seem to be in any visible pain or stress then shes probably fine (cats do hide things like that well though so just keep an eye on her and keep her comfortable)

@amoeba._. Thank you for commenting, you are the first one to actually give me any information. The thing is she will only do so for about a few minutes or so before moving back to laying on the cold hard wood floors, so far all the answers I have been getting from Google are thar pregnant cats knead when they are trying to make a comfortable place to give birth and I know that that is not what she is doing when she is laying on me so I just want either some advice or some clarification on why she is doing it

I’m not a vet but more of a behaviorist. Sometimes cats will knead and/or purr to try to comfort themselves. In the case of her being pregnant, maybe shes having pains or something. A lot of people think cats only knead/purr when they’re happy which is not true
