Israel is already free and they hold palestine in a sort of apartheid state. Every person deserves the right to self determination and Israel is in the position where they don't have the moral right to hold Palestinians the way they are, but after decades of this treatment the Palestinians want blood so Israel is at risk if they do the moral thing. It's lind of like when the US decided to free the slaves. There were concerns of violence emerging with their new found freedom, but the right thing to do was free them.
