मनुस्मृति में महिलाओं से संबंधित कुछ निर्देश - 1) पुत्री, पत्नी, माता या कन्या, युवा, वृद्धा किसी भी स्वरूप में नारी स्वतंत्र नहीं होना चाहिए। ( मनुस्मृति, अध्याय 9, श्लोक दो से छः ) 2) पति पत्नी को छोड़ सकता है, गिरवी रख सकता है, बेच सकता है, पर स्त्री को इस प्रकार के अधिकार नहीं हैं। ( मनुस्मृति, अध्याय 9, श्लोक 45 ) 3) स्त्री को संपत्ति रखने का अधिकार नहीं है, स्त्री के संपत्ति का मालिक है उसका पति पुत्र या पिता है ( मनुस्मृति, अध्याय 9, श्लोक 416 ) 4) असत्य जिस तरह अपवित्र है, उसी भांति स्त्रीयां भी अपवित्र है, पढने-पढ़ाने , वेद-मंत्र बोलने या उपनयन का स्त्रियों को अधिकार नहीं हैं। ( मनुस्मृति अध्याय 2, श्लोक 66 और अध्याय 9 श्लोक 181 ) 5) पति सदाचार हीन हो, अन्य स्त्रियों में आसक्त हो, दुर्गुणो से भरा हो, नपुंसक हो, फिर भी स्त्री को उसे देव की तरह पुजना चाहिए। ( मनुस्मृति अध्याय 5, श्लोक 154 ) ... read more

विनाश काले विपरीत बुद्धि | सर्व प्रथम यह जान ले और अपने नयन चक्षु खोले की, मनुस्मृति "सत् युग" की न्याय पुस्तिका है, आज के समाज के लिया, कलियुग के लिए - "पराशर स्मृति" लागू होती है। अब श्लोकों पे आते है। || ॐ गं गणपतये नमः || मनुस्मृती अध्याय 9 श्लोक 45: एतावानेव पुरुषो यत्जायाऽऽत्मा प्रजेति हि। विप्राः प्राहुस्तथा चैतद्यो भर्ता सा स्मृताङ्गना॥ अपना शरीर, सन्तति और स्त्री, ये तीनों मिलकर ही पुरुष होता है। ब्राह्मणों का कहना है कि जो पति है, वही स्त्री है अर्थात पति और पत्नी में कोई भेद नहीं होता। श्लोक 181: य एतेऽभिहिताः पुत्राः प्रसङ्गादन्यबीजजाः। यस्य ते बीजतो जातास्तस्य ते नैतरस्य तु॥ प्रसंगानुसार जो पुत्र कहे गये हैं उनमें औरस के विचार से, इसमें जो दूसरे के बीज से उत्पन्न हुए हैं, वे जिसके बीज से उत्पन्न हुए हैं, वे उन्हीं के पुत्र होंगे दूसरे के नहीं। श्लोक 206:विद्याधनं तु यद्यस्य तत्तस्यैव धनं भवेत्। मैत्र्यमोद्वाहिकं चैव माधुपर्किकमेव च॥ विद्या से प्राप्त जो जिसका धन होता है, वह उसी का होता है और मैत्री और विवाह के द्वारा तथा मधुपर्क में जो धन जिसे मिलता है, वह भी उसी का होता है। अध्याय 5 श्लोक 154: पाणिग्राहस्य साध्वी स्त्री जीवतो वा मृतस्य वा । पतिलोकमभीप्सन्ती नाचरेत् किं चिदप्रियम् ॥ सुसंस्कारी पत्नी कभी भी, जीवित या मृत पति के नाचरित अर्थात disgraceful towards husband कार्य नही करेगी। आपके श्लोक तो है ही नही, मनुस्मृति के शुद्ध अध्याय से अध्याय, श्लोक क्रमांक और संस्कृत में लिखे श्लोक उपरोक्त है। अब आप जो बात कर रहे है, उनका संबंध अध्याय 9 के शुरुवाती कुछ श्लोकों से है, जहा स्त्री के स्वच्छंदता के ऊपर टिप्पणियां की है। लेकिन उन्ही श्लोकों के संदर्भ को तो आप पढ़ेंगी नही, उन संधर्भो में लिखित है की यह श्लोक "व्यभिचारी" स्त्रियों के लिए लागू है। जिस समय यह श्लोक लिखा था उस वक्त व्यभिचार काफी बढ़ने लगा था, जिसके कारण कंस जैसे राक्षस का भी जन्म हुआ था। संस्कारी स्त्रियों के लिए यह श्लोक थे ही नही। इसीलिए हमे शुद्ध प्रतो का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए। एक छोटा सा उदाहरण देता हूं। काफी प्रसिद्ध विवाद हुआ था जब Dr Ambedkar जी ने मनुस्मृति जलाई थी, लेकिन उन्होंने स्वयं कहा था कि उन्होंने Max Muller द्वारा अनुवादित प्रति पढ़ी है, क्युकी उन्हे संस्कृत नही आती थी। अब जिस श्लोक पे विवाद हुआ था उस श्लोक में एक शब्द है "द्विज" जिसका सरल अर्थ होता है दूसरा जन्म (जाती सिर्फ द्विज से ही बदलेगी ऐसा श्लोक है), अब भ्राता Muller साहब को लगा दूसरा जन्म अर्थात मृत्यु के बाद वाला परंतु अगर कोई भारतीय उसे पढ़ता तो वह बता पता यह मृत्यु वाला नही ज्ञानारजन वाले दूसरे जन्म की बात हो रही है, क्युकी हम उसे भी "द्विज" ही कहते है। अब इसी बात से बवाल हुआ, इसलिए हमे हमारे ग्रंथ हमारी भाषा में ही पढ़ने चाहिए। आपने जो श्लोक दिए है, यह जरूर किसी गलत अनुवाददाता की प्रति से anti-hindu site से है। रही बात जलाने ना जलाने की, एक तो मनुस्मृति मनु का ग्रंथ है, वेदोपनिषद नही, इसलिए वह शत प्रतिशत सही हो ऐसी जरूरत नहीं हैं। जिसप्रकार हम amendments करके पुराने दकियानूसी कानूनों को बदलते है, उसी प्रकार आने वाले सदियों में नई पुस्तिकाएं आई है, जिसका लेटेस्ट है पराशर स्मृति।

Have you ever seen Earth from outside...the answer is No...but you believe and accept the fact that it is Round/Spherical in shape... So, I don't need to read the religious books... I trust who are experts...who have dedicated entire their lives to read such books...and given their translation and opinion without being biased... @QueeNofHeartS वैसे एक श्लोक है, "यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यंते रमंते तत्र देवता:" अर्थात जहा नारी की पूजा होती है, वही ईश्वर का सदैव वास रहता है, और यह श्लोक मनुस्मृति का है। देखिए में यह नही कहता की मनुस्मृति बेस्ट है या आज उसे लागू करो, लेकिन यह मनुष्य को नियमबद्ध करने वाली दुनिया की पहली पुस्तकों में से एक है, यह धर्मग्रंथ नही है, यह संविधान की तरह है। इसमें कई अच्छी बाते भी है जिन्हे हम आत्मसात करना चाहिए, और जो गलत है वो तो आगे सुधरा ही है अगली स्मृतियों में। में जैसे पहले कहा, जिसप्राकार संशोधन के बाद पुराने संविधान को जलाते नही है, वैसा ही व्यवहार मनुस्मृति से होना चाहिए। || हरी ॐ तत् सत् ||
