We toss around the word freedom so loosely nowadays but never question at what cost. Heres a few thi ngs to think about before answering; Here in America you practically need a license/permit to do anything. You never officially own your home even after paying off a mortgage you still gotta pay property tax and if you dont pay government man takes your home. Patriot act has stripped all of us of our rights to privacy. Income tax literally takes more than 30% of your hard-earned money. If we go to war based on decisions made by psychopaths, we can be forced to enlist or go to jail. We're not allowed to collect rain water and also we can only grow a small amount of fruits or vegetables in our backyard (not allowed front yard). ... read more

Ive been sick with a fever for the past 4 days ive taken alot of medicine, which last half the time its supposed to, and i still have a fever today (May 30th 2024) and i also have a father who has had a stroke and is currently in the hospital with my mom and im stuck with my 3 younger siblings, which no one can watch, (and note i took 3 days off of work already in a 2 week spand, 1 day was cause i was sick, and 2 others were to watch my siblings) and my boss might put me on leave if i take another day off which would leave me to end up giving up my position cause we barely have any staff. Ive only told her about my dad cause i feel like she would have been more annoyed with me telling her i was also running a fever. Idk what to do at this point im afraid to ask for a day off cause it took me a while to get the job and all of this (my dad and my fever and watching my siblings) has made me very stressed out and idk if i should take today off or go to work with my high fever. ... read more
