Probably the hot sandy desert. North Pole is probably one of the most dangerous climates on the planet. It gets to -40 in the winter. You'd need a lot of resources that aren't native to the landscape to survive. The desert isn't a cake walk but theres a little bit more resources and the human body is better adapted for cooling then heating.

I'm not sure on the numbers of each country, but I know either India or China holds the record for the oldest civilization in the world the oldest settled public continuous population in the world I know India has ancient texts they have in their library I have heard of ancient things being done in China, so I will say out of the poll meaning I won't select a button but those are my two guesses. I didn't select one of the polls choices because I've heard my whole life it's better to be quiet and be thought you're an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. So China and India is up for grabs for me.

@ShigarakiFan267 correct China was newt twice but on the same thought the United States had the witch trials that was way further before China got bombed, Russia has the most land mass the most tundra they were airbursted by a comet that flattened over 800,000 acres of trees in Siberia. Depends on how specific the surveys is. 0 dollar choices given I would think Japan would be the least on the list.

Hiroshima is where the ships were built the ships they used to attack pearl harbor and kill Americans. They had it coming anyone who said America needs to open a history book. And for those going to say it's because of slavery you really need to open a history book. EVERY country in the world had slavery. EVERY SINGLE ONE. The West Ended the practice with the exception of some Muslim countries where you can go buy a slave today. Study the opium wars in China the the murder of over 200 million people in the 20th century alone by Mao in the name of Communism America should not even be on this list.
