An interrobang is a combination of a question mark and exclamation point.

Is using 'They/Them' as pronoun for a singular person confusing?

JohnParker1897
@HumbleCy Doesn't it say in the good book to love thy enemy as thy neighbor. My friend you are using the lords name to do exactly what he is against.

@Nefelibata You literally subconsciously address someone you don't know the gender of with they/them pronouns. It's not that hard to address someone as such when you've done it your whole life. Grammar states they/them as being both singular and plural pronouns.

SpunkClap
@SulkyBean sorry but you can refer to literally any singular person on this app and it would be grammatically correct.

Anyone who argues that they/them can not be used as singular pronouns will literally use them as singular pronouns to address someone in the next sentence.

No, sometimes I use it to refer to a single person. I mostly say it to refer to a group of people though.

The people saying wrong grammar need to learn their grammar. They them is not only correct it used to be the gold standard.

@Onyx_Talon I don't object to the idea I just wish someone would come up with different terms to describe that identity cuz they/them is plural and... I'm sorry the grammar just bothers me lol
