@RacingThudSerious question about beards at BYU and it's additional universities.
At all the Mormon owned schools (BYU Provo, Idaho, and Hawaii) there is a dress code that states men are not allowed to have facial hair outside of a well groomed mustache. Recently I have decided that's some bullshit after getting called out publicly for having 3 day scruff. The original implementation of this rule dates back to the late 60s to push back against rebellious hippie culture of the times and has not been changed in the time since. So in all seriousness; what is your opinion about a school and it's religious affiliation who enforces this rule and should it be changed? Please leave a comment on what your opinion is. If you joined a private religious college, you either knew what you were signing up for, or forgot to consider what that entails. Freedom of religion is a constitutional right, and if the religion owns the school they can make whatever rules they want, within the scope of the law. Yeah it's bullshit, but you didn't have to go there either.
