@CosmicBalladss you have to wonder if these studies are good faith or not. these corporations that profit from butchering most of the time vulnerable minded people you’ve gotta ask why would they want to stop that cash flow by showing that people regret their decisions? And a lot of these studies end at about or around the 6 to 12 month mark. Hence why I mention the addict example. Addicts feel a high and they can ride out that high for a while but after a while that high gets dumb down and they are left in a worse place both physically and mentally once they start to realize that the same amount of drugs isn’t doing it for them.

@CosmicBalladss God wants everybody to happy but also wants everyone to love him and accept Jesus’ grace and get into paradise. Plus, you have to wonder if what they’re doing is really making them happy, or digging themselves into a deeper hole. For example, addicts, they’re happy in the moment but are only ignoring their pain and making it worse.

I absolutely do not believe that trans people are the gender they want to be, no matter what they do. Nor do I agree that there are more than two genders. And no, I don’t hate trans people. (How do you define hate?) And if you’re the kind of person to “put someone in a box and take the oxygen out”, as your posts suggest, then I don’t think you’d be my type of person anyway. But, of course, if you’d like to, we could debate and hopefully we could come to some sort of agreement on some things.

@Ballistix please open a medical journal once in awhile. Studies? Anything really. I see youre coming at it from a place of concern but less than 1% of trans people who get any surgery top or bottom, regret it. Less than 1% that means it has a decimal. We feel empathy for those who make the wrong decisions, but all in all its their decision. And almost all of detransitioning is done due to social pressure.

@CosmicBalladss by who? Obviously to keep up with the participants of the study the researchers would have to socialize with the participants and keep up with how they are doing. Think about it, these people have most likely signed up to be in a study, and compensation does exist when you agree to be in such studies. Not only that going off of you saying that these studies are being conducted by “ people who care” they are very possibly affirming these peoples views about them self and giving them more validity than a normal person would get. That’s why Dylan Mulvaney might be going as long as he is he is wildly popular and gains both support and financial support. Not to mention every company conforms to his will, including, infamously, Bud Light.

@Ballistix man you say a lot of things but rarely do they lead to any substance. This study was done by an organization that proforms all over the United States, so the 26k+ were from all over the country; then they just made it into digestible charts. Also the whole point of the study is affirmation? We tried every other cruel method, and now they are like "hey! What if we try treating them like humans and show empathy and understanding!" But youre like "nah, they should just deny anything the participants says, they must be lying because they actually respect and understand the people they are doing research on." My dude do you realize your strings of logic overlap. If it is this one thing that youre concerned about and I tell you that they werent a corporation that did it for money, now its cause they care so much about these people apparently they would lie about the results? Interesting thought process. Or lack there of.

Science, biologists, and any academic medical journal will tell you that the best way to support and treat the gender disphoria is to support and affirm them. The only delusion here is you believing that your "criticisms" mean anything to someone who is actually trans. You can always have your opinions but in the end whether it is the right or wrong decision is not and was never left up to you. Its left up to someone who has way more integrity than someone who doesn't even look at the relevant findings.

I have separation anxiety. I didn’t realize I did until my friend told me I was a flea that wouldn’t stop following her. I tried to stop, but couldn’t and now she’s no longer my friend. I don’t want to lose anymore people but I also don’t know how to stop following people. Even my gf gets on me about it and we barely see each other so it must be pretty bad. Therapy is way too expensive tbh
