Pantyhose is actually a thing used in the military by soldiers to keep feet from blistering/trench foot. After all those miles it protects under the socks like an extra layer of skin, same with the crotch area too.

I wear them often, and I'm a straight guy. Under my jeans, never with shorts or openly. some help with circulation and add a little extra layer on colder days on my motorcycle. AND I happen to think they feel pretty good. I'm also old school Army. Say something derogatory and be glad youre safe behind a screen somewhere. Talk shit, get hit.
