“Dump” isn’t the word I’d use. Yes if that isn’t something you want in your relationship, breaking up is okay. But have a conversation about it, when someone says dump I just think about them saying “you did this so now we are over goodbye” and that shouldn’t be what happens. You should say “Hey, I’m not comfortable with this and I’m hurt you didn’t talk to me about it before. I personally don’t think I want to be with someone who does that, so if that’s something you’d like to continue we need to split up.” Just be mature adults.
