Home Ec. needs to be brought back. Instead of learning these skills in middle or high school, kids are left to figure it out on their own in adulthood

@DumbSlutt I've often heard the easiest way to shut down an argument is to say: "I'm sorry, you were right. " (even if you know for certain this isn't true). I've tried it a few times. It seems to work.

@hisbabygirl26 i thinking lifting people up is better than proving I'm right. If i know I'm right, i don't need validation necessarily. If someone is being a jerk, i see the merit in pointing it out. Most times i figure their actions or beliefs will catch up with them.

@DeafNibble The more you tell yourself Nobody likes you the more you're going to act like it and your behavior will be reflected onto others and you'll make it a reality, in which case can be called a self fulfilling prophecy. When people say mindset is everything, they're not far off.
